I am here, in my family's holiday house in Malaysia, blogging about the very outdated happenings in my life. It's been so long since I blogged again because the start of 2008 proved to be really hectic. We did spring cleaning. It tired me out entirely. I could not get used to waking up early again. Slept too much during the holidays. We performed for the Sec 1 Orientation. It was disastrous. This happened almost 3 weeks ago. Some recent news. I went to Pizza Hut yesterday! Sounds cool huh! The service was HORRIBLE. Trust me. Although the food is superb, I'm never going to go to the Bukit Batok outlet anymore. They took so long to prepare the food that we had to use all the energy the food provided to run back to school. It cost $6.50 okay. The Sec 4s and 5s went to Ngee Ann Poly. I was alone playing 1st Clarinet. Junie had Music Elective Programme. Luckily, Mr Hoe gave us the scores for the ensemble competition and told us to form groups to practise. The thing I don't like about it is we are going for competition. I have really horrific stage fright. I would shiver and shiver and SHIVER. Reminds me of the orientation performance. I actually didn't play most of the parts. Junie and Shafarie helped me to cover up. The overall result, Mr Hoe shook his head.
Nonetheless, it's heard that 30+ juniors are joining us this year. Seems like BVMB is attracting more and more members year after year. There WERE 29 members in our batch. You know what happened? There are about 20 of us left. Seems like the rest could not take it. I expect the same thing to occur this year. There are sure to be members who quit.
Listening to music on youtube currently. Into the Storm. Quite nice.
Anyway, me and daddy cooked mee siam for dinner today. An extraordinary arrangment yeah. It was a success. My brothers and sisters loved it.
Well, gotta go now to listen to more music and hunt for scores. I'd better treasure these 4 short years with my precious clarinet. It would be too expensive to buy one.
