\\*Wednesday, 17 October 2007*//

I know today is not 17th October, but I really love this day that I have to post. This was the first time my parents ever allowed me to go out with my friends on a holiday. To make it better, we went to Escape Theme Park. 11 of us went there altogether. 5 guys, 6 gals. I met Lynette, Bridget, Chunwen, Wei Sin, Teck Kia, Jian Xin and Jian Yu at the MRT station at 9.30a.m. We waited for Stefhanie and Isaac to arrive, then we boarded the MRT. We met Joanne at Jurong East. Then, the whole group started out for Pasir Ris. It took about 1 hour 30 minutes to reach Pasir Ris. Then, we walked to Escape Theme Park. On the way, there was this games arcade. The guys went in to play games. They took a long time to finally come out. We walked. When I finally saw the entrance to Escape, I was THRILLED. We bought our tickets. Actually, we tried to lie about our age but the guy asked for our ez-link cards. So sad. Paid $8 more for the tickets. We went in and took the first ride. It was so hot but fun. We went to the Haunted House. I thought it was going to be terribly scary with ghosts jumping out at corners but there were only fake ghosts sitting stiffly. Jian Xin dared not enter or take any thrilling rides. Sad for him. Paid so much. We went to drive the go-karts. It was damn fun! After that, we went to the Family Coaster while waiting for the guys. It was kinda lame. Me, Chunwen and Lynette went spraying water at each other at the Blaster Boat. We got drenched in chlorine water-which seriously hurt my eyes. I think we went to sit the Inverter. The thing went upside down! That was the first time ever that I sat an inverting ride. It was so cool. We kinda took the ride 4 times. Then we went to sit Wet & Wild. Hahaha... The flume ride. Cool. The thing was like rushing down the slope. The water splashed to the back where Joanne was sitting. Haha... Luckily I was sitting in front. Then, we went to the Carnival Games which was sitting in a huge tent shaped like a circus. Went in and wasted a lot of money. Won 4 Yitaos. After that, we went to Burger King and Orange Julius for lunch. It was already 3.30p.m. I bought a Fish Burger and a Large Coke because I will never want to eat Chicken Burgers like Kartar. The cashier was the blur blur type who did not remember everything and forgot to give me the burger until I asked. After that, we went to drive the go-karts again. I think we went to ride on the Kite Flyer like Superman. There were 7 of us who drove altogether. It was so fun speeding down the slope. Then, we nearly went home when Stefhanie found her house keys missing. It should have fallen off at the Inverter. So, we made a report at the Guest Relations office and waited for the search of the keys. We took the first ride again twice. Then, since we had nothing else to do, we went to sit the Choo Choo Train. Lame. Like a kid's ride. But we just enjoyed the slow ride as we were getting tired. Then, we finally went home. Me, Joanne, Jian Xin, Jian Yu and Teck Kia took the MRT home while the rest went home by cab. They still took MRT at Yishun. Finally reached home at 7.55p.m. after a long day.
